Workshops with Ozgen
Due to popular demand we have added a new date: Saturday 24th March 2012!!
Probably the last chance you'll have to take workshops with the fabulous Ozgen in Kent as he will be spending a few months in Spain this Spring and doesn't know whether he will come back to London again!!
Ozgen has performed, taught, choreographed & directed for the last 15 years. His reputation as a male belly dancer & teacher has taken him across the World. In Istanbul, he joined the cast of Night of the Sultans combining contemporary dance, ballet & oriental dance.
Ozgen taught for several years at the Tolgahan Dance School in Istanbul & is currently based in London, teaching and performing Turkish Oriental & Romani (Gypsy) dance internationally.
Workshops take place in the spacious hall at Aylesford Community Centre.

1pm to 2:30pm - Romany Skirt Dance
Learn Turkish 9/8 rhythm and the cabaret form of the passionate Romany folk dance using big spanish skirts. A fun and playful workshop to ignite your gypsy passion!

3:30pm to 5pm - Veil
Ozgen's flamboyant style is captured beautifully in this fantasy veil choreography jam-packed full of fancy moves and veil tricks. All levels of dancer are welcome for this great opportunity to learn veil dance in a huge room with no restrictions on space.
